TUMULUS "Hymns and Dirges" LP

30 years after it all started, Hammerheart Records has announced the reissue of the legendary 1995 Tumulus demo Hymns and Dirges for the first time on vinyl.

The re-issue is set for release on 9th May via the label. Germany’s Tumulus deliver raw, atmospheric pagan black metal on their 1995 demo Hymns and Dirges which blends slow, doom-laden riffs with primitive viking melodies, dark acoustic passages and a grim mix of clean vocals, growls, and chants. Steeped in Germanic mysticism and asatru ritual, this is bleak, unpolished, and hauntingly effective.
